Jody Jones II is a Filmmaker – Music Artist from Cincinnati/Dayton, Ohio. He obtained a BFA in Media Production split focusing between Film and Music Production with a certificate in screenwriting. His career finds him happily dwelling in both the Audio and Visual worlds. He has had a hand in several nationally broadcast productions through CET’s (Cincinnati’s PBS member station) “The Art Show” and spent more than 8 years aiding the development of various brands’ visual identities within the Ohio region. His creative works have landed him at celebrated film events, the latest being “Vessels: A Night of Dance Film” in 2025. Music being a driving factor in Jody’s life, he has spent over 12 years writing, producing, and engineering music under the alias “Grandace” – an effort which has allowed him to travel the world performing and have his music broadcast on various television networks including CBS, VH1, BET and PBS.  The aim throughout his work is to create worlds that find magic within the everyday monotony. Balancing his efforts between film and music, he works to find joy in every corner of his life.
